An impressive career can conceal the most piteous stories underneath. Lolo Jones, who took home the USA and World championships in hurdle events in 2013, only reached this position by putting in a lot of work and perseverance. Jones was the only child in a family of five as well as grew up in extreme poverty. She was constantly in motion and even been living in a basement church for a length of time. Jones lived a nomadic existence that made her change school every year up to she reached high school. Jones had to live away from her mother in Theodore Roosevelt School to pursue her love of track. Jones was the winner of both hurdles in the indoor as well as outdoor hurdles events at the NCAA Championship in 2003. Jones started her career with the year 2005, after she finished her education. She started training to pursue a track career that would be successful. In 2005, she was first in the Torino Memorial race, in 2006 she was the Heusden and Ostrava athletes.
Brandt was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. She emigrated from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand with her family when she was in her teens. Brandt was found by casting directors in her home town and was cast in the part of Naevia for the Starz popular Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. In the course of her partnership with Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi's producers, she became a breakout star. Mazikeen is a popular Vertigo/DC character from comic books and Vertigo/DC series Lucifer played her part in the hit Netflix show. Forbes has ranked Lucifer as the number one series that was watched on a binge in 2021. Brandt will next be seen with Andrew Lincoln in the limited Walking Dead 6 episode spin-off airing in 2024. Lesley Ann Brandt was born on December 2, in Cape Town in South Africa. She's an extremely talented New Zealand actor. Lesley Brandt and her family relocated to Auckland in New Zealand in 1999. In Auckland she began working in retail and later was promoted to IT management consultant. Lesley's career began with a handful of modeling projects. Her appearances then included many commercial ads. Her graduation was with a degree in acting in 2008. In 2009, she started training in Meisner Methods of Study. The first time she was a prominent actor, her job was in the TV drama Diplomatic Immunity in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt made a guest appearance on the New Zealand's television drama Shortland Street as a support actor. Later she appeared in a Sci-fi drama called This Is Not My Life which is based upon the anecdotal town of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt appeared as Naevia an innocent hostage in the Television Series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The character was featured in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
